Paul Anderson '63G, '01H received the 2006 Priestly Medal, the highest honor the American Chemical Society awards for distinguished service. Anderson is a former president of the society and a retired pharmaceutical industry chemist.

Attorney Jack Sanders Jr. '59 was appointed to New Hampshire's Judicial Conduct Committee by the New Hampshire Supreme Court.

Mary Anne Sharer Waikart '75G is the director of the School of Public Service at St. Albans School in Washington, D.C. She was formerly an assistant dean at UNH's Whittemore School and taught in the Thompson School.

Jon Cannon '00, '02G was selected in September as a roving correspondent with the Clue Crew team for the quiz show Jeopardy! Cannon is a former high school social studies teacher.

Jeff '76 and Henry '80 Huntington, owners and operators of Pleasant View Gardens in Loudon, N.H., were named Grower of the Year for 2004 by Greenhouse Grower magazine for leadership in the floriculture industry.

Ralph Beaudoin '64, '69Greceived the Distinguished Business Officer Award from the National Association of College and University Business Officers. He was most recently vice president for finance and treasurer at the Catholic University of America.

Sachiko Ito Howard '84G was named 2005 professor of the year at New England College, where she is a professor of chemistry. She also volunteers as a Cooperative Extension Master Gardener.

Attorney Giuseppe Bellavita '89 recently joined the business and tax group at Pierce Atwood in Portsmouth, N.H. He was previously with Bacon & Wilson in Springfield, Mass.

James A. Rispoli '70G was appointed the Assistant Secretary of Energy for Environmental Management in August. His job will be to lead the restoration, cleanup and closure of the department's nuclear weapons legacy sites throughout the United States.
