"Hog Island, Maine" a photo by Lisa Nugent, UNH photographer, won a gold medal in the 2009 Circle of Excellence Awards from national CASE, the Council for the Advancement of Education.

The photo was published in the Fall 2008 issue of UNH Magazine, and was taken along the coastline of Maine in the summer of 2008. It shows the caretaker's cottage at the Hog Island Audubon Center in Bremen, Maine, where UNH alumna Susan Schubel '84 works.
