Show Time For the first time, the work of UNH students taking furniture design courses in the UNH art department has been displayed at a professional gallery. In the past, even though some students would go on to careers in furniture design, the products of their class work were "largely unrecognized," says assistant art professor Jo Stone. More than 25 works ranging from walking sticks to cabinets were displayed at a Portsmouth, N.H., art gallery during March. In addition to the exposure, Stone says the students got a hands-on lesson in the logistics of staging a show. Shown here is a table by exhibitor Case Prince.
