LEAVE THE DRIVING TO US: "See a Great University at Work" read the poster advertising this guided bus tour of campus in 1952. The tours were apparently intended for conference attendees and other visitors. An article in the New Hampshire Alumnus noted that 52 conferences and institutes, bringing 9,000 people to campus, had been held the previous year: "Durham and New Hampshire have become the conference center of the state."
