Class Notes Opener Photo All Fired UpIn 1961, students lit the carnival lamp with torches carried by runners from the Old Man on the Mountain, through Concord, N.H., to Durham—a distance of 128.4 miles. The theme for the 40th annual Winter Carnival was "World Wide Winter," to celebrate the spirit of international friendship. Send us the names of these students (alumni.editor@unh.edu) and we'll print them in the next issue. Readers identified the students above as Carol Worden '63, left, Jed Williamson '61, '69G and Doug MacGregor '62. blog comments powered by Disqus |
