A new reoad and bridge connect two new dorms to McDaniel Drive. The dorms, temporarily named SERC A and B (for Southeast Residential Community) house almost 500 students. In the future this road, South Drive, will wind past the football stadium and tennis courts to Main Street, creating a bypass and reducing traffic in the campus core. The old one-lane railroad underpass behind Pettee Hall is now reserved for pedestrians and bikes. Photo by Lisa Nugent.
