The mystery continues: this photo of Kancha Nuru Sherpa wearing a UNH sweatshirt appeared this spring on the web site of Mountain Zone, which features news of Mt. Everest expeditions. Strenuous sleuthing by UNH staff failed to uncover how the sweatshirt made it to the world's highest peak. One possible source is UNH Climate Change Research Center personnel, who were in Nepal last year. No matter how it got there, UNH President Joan Leitzel is delighted. "You can't ask for better exposure," she noted.
