What Road Have You Traveled?

We want your stories!

With the winter 2014 issue of UNH Magazine, we introduce a new regular feature, The Road I've Traveled. This column, which we will publish as frequently as possible, will highlight essays by alumni contributors about pivotal events or times in their lives that gave them a new perspective, shaped their future, or stayed with them for any number of reasons. These are stories of life's milestone moments, the experiences that make you . . . you.

Send us a first-person account—or an idea for a first-person account. If you have a great story to tell but don't think of yourself as a writer, we'll connect you with an experienced writing coach who can help you bring out the best in your story. We will also have a writer interview you for a fuller sketch of your life's journey that includes experiences outside the scope of your essay.

Contact us with your idea, a proposal, or even a completed first draft of no more than 1,200 words at alumni.editor@unh.edu. Be sure to read the inaugural column here.

And please: spread the word to your alumni friends who have great stories to tell—we want to hear from you!
