Chris Leavy '88is currently creative director of KHTO-FM in Springfield, MO. He's active at the Vandivort Center Theater, where he recently directed "She Loves Me," a favorite of his since UNH's production in 1983. He also appeared in "Starting Here, Starting Now." Future projects include an appearance in "Into The Woods," musical director for "Little Shop of Horrors" and directing a version of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" set in San Francisco during the summer of 1967.
Dr. Marie Baehr '77G has been named associate dean of the faculty at Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Ill. An associate professor of physics at the college, Baehr has received a President's Award for Excellence in Teaching and an Adviser of the Year award, and was named to an endowed chair. She earned her B.A. degree from Denison University, a master's in physics from UNH, and a Ph.D. in physics from Ohio State University. Before joining Elmhurst, she taught at North Central College, State University of New York at Stony Brook, and Denison.
Mark Oliver '91 of York, Me., has been named East Coast logistics manager for the Redhook Ale Brewery in Portsmouth, NH. Redhook has been brewing traditional ales since 1982. Oliver received his B.A. in English from UNH.
Dr. Judith Jackson-Graves Pomeroy '90, '98G, has been appointed an assistant professor of sociology at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, Calif. Pomeroy received an associate's degree in 1988, and B.A. and Ph.D. degrees in sociology in 1990 and 1998 from UNH. She has been an instructor of sociology at UNH and St. Anselm's College.
